dinbhar kaam, nahin aaraam
great. the exams are over. but hold on. what am i saying? is the situation really any better than that during the exams, or is it even worse than that? it really is worse than the five exam days, at least we had no lectures during those days and to study or not was a question of personal discretion. but now that the exams are over, i have no choice but to attend the lectures.
so when i returned to my room yesterday at 3:45 after the exam, i knew exactly what was in store for me and accordingly decided against indulging in any celebrations. so i attended FSA(*) lecture from 6 in the evening to 10 in the night with a small half an hour break for dinner (thanks god, they granted our request to have some food). today was no different, had FIM(**) lecture from 10 in the morning till 1:45 in the afti, and not to forget the evening lecture by some hotshot from ONGC. even this sunday is extremely busy day with the 4 hour FIM lecture in the morning and then the Stratman lecture in the evening. that reminds me, we are required to submit a writeup for the case to be discussed in tomorrow evening class which pre-requires studying lots of reference (read "junk") material before proceeding any further.
but this is not where it ends. there is life beyond the lectures too. i have to meet my summer guide on monday after going through the changes that he had suggested in my draft summer report. also there is the portfolio writeup to be submitted to the IAPM(***) professor by sunday night. last but not the least, there is the deadline that our respected chairman has set, failing to comply with, we will be again summoned to his office and then have to listen to his long lecture. so you see my friend, life is not fair enough. and these are only my weekend academic commintments, am in no mood right now to think about the coming week.
